Results and Feedback

Walch Education has worked with a number of districts in recent years and achieved impressive results.  Some examples:

• In Baltimore City in 2007, 105 high school students participated in a summer school program using Walch Education's ELA Academic Support Program.  These students showed  an average increase of 23% from pre- to post-test.
  
  Baltimore City teachers using the program said “very affordable and user friendly”, “Perfect for evening high school”, “Post assessments are helpful, as are graphic organizers”, “I can use it immediately”, “Very accessible and adaptable for my needs!”, and “Excellent, user-friendly tool totally applicable for instruction!”
  
   
• In Palm Beach County, Florida, 146 middle school students participated in a summer school program using Walch Education's Mathematics Academic Support Program.  They showed an average increase of 37% from pre to post test.
  
   
• DeKalb County, Georgia, implemented the Georgia Academic Support Program for High School Science for summer school. The pass rate rose from 47% (non-participating students) to 61% (participating students).
  
   
• When Fulton County, Georgia, implemented the Georgia Academic Support Program for Mathematics, scores of participating students rose an average of 44% from pre-test to post-test.
